Ramy Alam, M.Sc.
Co-founder & COO
Ramy holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Life & Earth Sciences from the Lebanese University. He is also a dual M.Sc. holder, with a M.Sc. in Research in Neuropsychology from the Lebanese University & a M.Sc. in Biochemistry from the American University of Beirut. He also currently works as a Neurogenetics Research Assistant with Joe in the R-MB Neurogenetics Lab, investigating the effects of an experimental drug on CLN6 neurodegenerative disease mouse models.
He is also well versed in the higher education applications & admissions domains, and is now enrolled in the Entrepreneurship & Innovation Professional Diploma at AUB. Whenever he can, Ramy enjoys cooking Lebanese food, and the occasional hiking, biking, or swimming session!
Joe Bedran, M.D.
Co-founder & CEO
Joe holds a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Biology & a minor in Psychology, witch a concentration in Neuroscience from the American University of Beirut. He is also an M.D. candidate in his penultimate year at the American University of Beirut Medical Center. He currently works as a Neurogenetics Research Assistant investigating the neurogenetics of Autism Spectrum Disorders in the lab of Dr. Rose-Mary Boustany, M.D.
He bolsters substantial expertise in the higher education applications & admissions domains, as well as significant experience in entrepreneurship, startup launching, scaling, and management. In his free time, Joe enjoys writing poetry and cooking!
